Travel Itinerary
Pre-Inca history, beautiful beaches, unparalleled gastronomy and impressive archaeological sites like Chan Chan or Sipán. Get ready for a 7D / 6N adventure on the Moche and Chimú route, where we will take care of everything so you can enjoy to the fullest.
Day 1: Arrival in Trujillo
Reception at the airport or bus terminal in Trujillo and transfer to the selected hotel.
Rest of the day free to rest or stroll through the Plaza de Armas and the historic center of the "City of Eternal Spring".
Overnight in Trujillo.
Day 2: Huacas de Moche and Huanchaco Resort
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning, visit the archaeological complex of Huacas del Sol and de la Luna, capital of the Moche culture. We will appreciate its friezes and polychrome murals.
Transfer to Huanchaco, a traditional fishing port famous for its "Caballitos de Totora". Free lunch with ocean views.
Overnight in Trujillo.
Day 3: Citadel of Chan Chan
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit to Chan Chan, the largest mud city in America and former capital of the Chimú empire. We will tour the Nik-An Palace, its squares and rooms decorated with marine reliefs.
Free afternoon for handicraft shopping or personal activities.
Overnight in Trujillo.
Day 4: El Brujo Complex and Travel to Chiclayo
Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure to the Chicama valley to visit the El Brujo Archaeological Complex and the Cao Museum, home of the mummy of the Lady of Cao.
In the afternoon, transfer by tourist bus to the city of Chiclayo (approx. 3 hours).
Arrival, reception and overnight in Chiclayo.
Day 5: Huaca Rajada and Lord of Sipán
Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to the archaeological site of Huaca Rajada, where the famous intact tomb of the Lord of Sipán was discovered. We will explore the excavation area and the site museum.
In the afternoon, visit the world-renowned Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum in Lambayeque, which houses the dazzling gold and silver treasures of the Moche ruler.
Overnight in Chiclayo.
Day 6: Pyramids of Túcume and Pómac Forest
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit to the Valley of the Pyramids of Túcume, an imposing urban and ceremonial center of the Lambayeque culture. Ascent to the Cerro La Raya viewpoint.
We will continue to the Pómac Forest Historical Sanctuary to visit the Millennial Tree and the huacas where the famous gold tumis were found.
Overnight in Chiclayo.
Day 7: Chiclayo City Tour and Return
Breakfast at the hotel.
Tour of the city of Chiclayo, visiting the Main Square, the Cathedral and the famous Witches' Market, where herbs and amulets used by shamans are sold.
At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport or bus agency for your return trip.
