Tarapoto and Chachapoyas 7D / 6N

Lamas is located 30 min from Tarapoto, it is known for its immense cultural value and its three natural levels.

03:30 p.m. Pick up starts to visit the city of Lamas.

• Visit to the Plaza de Armas of Lamas.
• We will visit the Castle of Lamas, the historical and ethnological museum of the Chancas.
• Visit to the native neighborhood.

08:30 a.m. Departure to Laguna Azul: We cross the Huallaga river by raft, pass by the Punta Gallinazo viewpoint to appreciate the landscape and take photos (photo booths have an extra cost). We continue the route until we reach the town of El Sauce.

Lunch à la carte at Rústica or Qasikay Selva Lodge restaurant.

11:30 a.m. Boat ride on the lagoon with stops at important places. Free time to rest, swim in the lagoon and organize a recreational extra sport (does not include extreme activities).

04:00 p.m. Return to the Hotel.

10:00 a.m. Departure to the city of Chachapoyas (Turismo Selva transport company). During the journey, you will be able to enjoy impressive natural landscapes that will accompany your trip.

Once in Chachapoyas, you will be transferred directly to your hotel for a well-deserved rest.

06:00 p.m. Approximate arrival.

09:45 a.m. Get on the cable car in El Tingo and let yourself be amazed by the spectacular landscapes. Visit the mysterious archaeological complex of Kuélap, the imposing fortress of the Chachapoyas culture, and immerse yourself in its fascinating history.

At 05:30 p.m., return to the city with unforgettable memories of a day full of adventures.

Departure to the town of Cocachimba, where a short stop will be made to order lunches and buy tickets.

From there, a walk of approximately 2 hours will begin (or you can also rent a horse) to reach the second fall of the immense Gocta Waterfall, where the guide will tell you some legends and stories. Enough time will be given for taking photographs.

After the visit you will enjoy a delicious lunch and then we will start the return to the city of Chachapoyas.

Departure to the district of Lámud, a place where a stop will be made to order lunches. Then we will move to the viewpoint of the Utcubamba canyon, we will return to Lámud and taste a delicious lunch.

In the afternoon you will visit the mysterious Karajía Sarcophagi (a funeral pattern unique in the world anchored at the top of cliffs).

At the end of the afternoon, return to the city of Chachapoyas and boarding towards Tarapoto.

10:00 a.m. Departure to the famous Ahuashiyacu Waterfalls. Before arriving we pass by a beautiful viewpoint, and upon arrival we will be able to enjoy the charm of the jungle, take spectacular photos and immerse ourselves in these enchanting and fresh waters.

Finally, transfer to the airport according to your flight schedule and end of our services.
