Travel Itinerary
Our daily tours in Tarapoto will allow you to discover the most important aspects of the San Martin region. We also have tourist packages in Tarapoto that we have designed for you to enjoy the regional cuisine, incredible landscapes and visit the most important tourist spots in Tarapoto.
In this tour we will start very early in the morning with the Santa Elena wetlands. This place is a swampy nature reserve filled with small rivers. During our visit we will travel them by canoe and we will be able to verify the abundant biodiversity of the area. Being an area not so exploited for tourism, you will be able to enjoy nature in its most virgin state.
Afterwards we will go to lunch and in the afternoon we will take a walk through the Palestine caves. Upon arrival we will dress in the necessary equipment, some boots and a helmet with a light on the front, and we will take a walk of about an hour and a half through the interior of its grottos and caverns.
Finally, we will visit the new Palestine butterfly farm before saying goodbye and heading back.
