Choquequirao Trek 5 Days / 4 Nights

We leave Cusco at approximately 04:30 am, arriving at the town of Curahuasi where we will have our first breakfast, arrival time approximately 3 hours. Then we head to the Capulilloc pass passing through the towns of Saywite and Cachora; where we organize our equipment on mules where we will begin our descent.

From this site, you can appreciate the majestic Padriyoc and Wayna Cachora snow-capped peaks, you can also visualize the beautiful change of landscapes from precipices to the Apurimac Canyon with its impressive depth.

In Chikiska we will have lunch with the chef staff, after tasting lunch we will go to our PLAYA-ROSALINA campsite where we will spend the night and have dinner.

Early in the morning after breakfast, we continue our hike ascending through the towns of Santa Rosa and Marampata where we can appreciate a spectacular landscape.

From Marampata we continue to the archaeological complex of Choquequirao for approximately 1.5 hours. During the hike, you can see the Choquequirao complex; near this complex, we will have our lunch and camp.

After breakfast, we will go for an all-day guided tour of the Inca construction "Choquequirao", a time to enjoy this majestic place, where we can appreciate houses, terraces, the main square, the priest's house, the usno, the main palace, the llama sector, and others that are undergoing restoration, and perhaps we can observe "The flight of the condors".

The guide will explain the history and importance of the site, and after the tour, we will return to our Maranpata campsite where we will spend the night.

After an early breakfast, we leave MARANPATA and descend back where we will once again observe the Apurimac canyon, the lush vegetation, its flowers, and orchids, arriving at PLAYA, the lunch spot, and then we will have a long nap for approximately 1 hour.

We will continue our hike ascending to our CHIKISKA campsite where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Early in the morning after breakfast, we continue our path ascending in which we can once again appreciate the majestic snow-capped Padriyoc that decorates the Apurimac Canyon.

Arriving at Capuliyoc we will have lunch and wait for the transport which will return us to Cusco.
