Essential Cusco Tour 4 Days / 3 Nights

Reception at the terminal or airport upon your arrival in Cusco and transfer to the hotel. You will have the morning free to acclimatize.

In the afternoon, we will begin the tour of the Inca city, its main streets and 4 ceremonial centers. In this guided excursion, the most important places of Cusco will be visited, such as the Plaza de Armas, the entrance to the Cathedral of Cusco, and the Koricancha or Temple of Santo Domingo.

Then, the archaeological centers on the outskirts of the city will be visited: Kenko, Tambomachay, Pucapucara and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Full-day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Pick up from the accommodation to head to the Valley. We will visit important tourist places such as the Market and the ruins of Pisac. Later, in the province of Urubamba, we will enjoy a delicious Buffet Lunch.

We will continue to Ollantaytambo, where we will have a guided tour of its great fortress (built to guard the entrance to the valley and protect it). Subsequently, we will be transferred to the Ollantaytambo station to take the train to Aguas Calientes. Upon our arrival, transfer to the hotel and overnight.

In the morning we transfer to take the minibus that will take us, on a 20-minute journey ascending a zigzagging road, to the city of Machu Picchu. In the guided tour we will get to know its Main Square, the Intihuatana, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and its majestic succession of terraces that border the citadel.

Then we will return to Aguas Calientes, where we will taste a buffet lunch. In the afternoon, return by train to Cusco, and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.

At the appropriate time, the transfer to the bus terminal or airport will be made to take your return bus or flight to the city of Lima (or another destination).
