Relax in Cusco Tour 5 Days / 4 Nights

Reception at the terminal or airport upon your arrival in Cusco and transfer to the hotel. You will have the morning free to acclimatize to the altitude.

In the afternoon, we will begin the tour of the Inca city, its main streets and 4 ceremonial centers. In this guided excursion, the most important places of Cusco will be visited, such as the Plaza de Armas, the entrance to the Cathedral of Cusco, and the Koricancha or Temple of Santo Domingo.

Then, the archaeological centers of Kenko, Tambomachay, Pucapucara and the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman will be visited. Overnight in Cusco.

Full-day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Pick up from the accommodation to head to the Valley, where we will visit important tourist places such as the picturesque Pisac Market. Later, in the province of Urubamba, we will enjoy a delicious Buffet Lunch.

We continue our tour to Ollantaytambo, with a guided tour of the fortress (built to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions). Transfer to the hotel and overnight in the Sacred Valley (according to accommodation instructions).

Very early, departure by bus to the train station in Ollantaytambo to take the train to Aguas Calientes. On the way we will be able to appreciate the peaks of perpetual snow such as the La Veronica volcano and the Salkantay snow-capped mountain, and very picturesque towns such as Pachar, Ollantaytambo and Pampacahua.

Arrival in the town of Aguas Calientes and transfer to the hotel. You will have the afternoon free to rest; it is recommended to visit the town's hot springs for total relaxation. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Bus ascent that will take us, on a 20-minute trip along a zigzagging road, to reach the Sacred Sanctuary of the Incas, Machu Picchu. We will have a guided tour where we will get to know its Main Square, the Intihuatana, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, the cemeteries and its majestic succession of terraces.

Then we will return to Aguas Calientes, where we will taste a buffet lunch. Afterwards, we will board the return train to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel and overnight.

At the appropriate time, the transfer to the bus terminal or airport will be made for your return flight or trip to Lima (or next destination).
