Chachapoyas 3D / 2N

10:00 a.m. Departure to Kuelap: We will head to the district of Nuevo Tingo, where we will make a short stop to order our lunches. Then we will transfer in the first cable car system in Peru to the La Malca stop (approx. 25 min), where the tickets will be purchased. From there we start a walk of approx. 30 min. until we reach the Kuélap Archaeological Complex, taking a guided tour of 1 hour. Later we will taste a delicious lunch, visit the archaeological site of Macro and return to Chachapoyas around 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.

07:30 p.m. Night Walking Tour: Departure to the Viewpoint of the city of Chachapoyas. From this point, we will start a tour through the main streets of the city, accompanied by a specialized guide who will provide general information and relevant historical facts about the most emblematic places. The tour will culminate in a traditional bar in Chachapoyas to enjoy a tasting of regional drinks, ideal for immersing yourself in the local culture.

09:30 a.m. Departure: We head from the hotel to the Lámud district, where we will make a stop to order lunches. Then we will transfer to the Quiocta Caverns, where we can observe and photograph large stalactites and stalagmites. At the end of the visit, we will enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon we will visit the imposing Sarcophagi of Karajía, a unique anthropomorphic funerary pattern in the world nestled in rocky cliffs.

09:30 a.m. Departure: We will travel to the town of Cocachimba, where a short stop will be made to order lunches and buy tickets. From there a beautiful hike of approximately 2 hours will begin (you can also rent horses) to reach the base of the second fall of the Gocta Waterfall.

At the site, the guide will tell us local legends and stories, as well as have time to take pictures and enjoy the spectacular natural environment. Upon returning, we will have time for lunch in Cocachimba and return to Chachapoyas around 5:30 to 6:00 p.m.
