Have you ever imagined having an amazing cable car ride over the Amazon Andes? Today is your chance to visit one of the most impressive buildings in South America! Kuelap is a pre-Inca construction with more than 1,500 years of history that belongs to the Chachapoyas civilization. The last one developed in the territory of the current Amazonas region. This culture was characterized by building impressive cities and tombs on the Andes. We invite you to travel through the history and mystery of the Chachapoyas.
Full Day: Visit to the Kuelap Fortress
At 9:00 AM We begin our Tour to Kuelap, with a 1-hour trip along the Uctubamba River Valley to the Nuevo Tingo Town Center.
There is the cable car station; We will then board a bus for 7 minutes to the boarding platform and enjoy an impressive 20-minute trip on the first Cable Car System in Peru to the arrival platform or tourist stop in the Pueblo La Malca.
Next, we began a 25-minute walk to the majestic Citadel of Kuélap.
Inside the archaeological site, we will have a 3-hour guided tour, where you will be able to appreciate the largest pre-Inca construction in South America. At the end of our visit we return to the tourist inn, we will board the cable cars and return to the Nuevo Tingo Town Center, lunch and transfer to Chachapoyas.
