Travel Itinerary
Cooking Class and Private City Tour
Enjoy an exclusive private tour that combines the best of our history and gastronomy. From a local market to an interactive cooking class and a visit to the icons of the City of Kings.
Start Time
09:45 AM: Pick up from the Hotel in Miraflores or San Isidro.
Popular Market
Our first stop will be a local market, a place full of color and life where you can interact with merchants and get up close and personal with the fresh and native products of Peruvian gastronomy. You can taste 3 seasonal fruits.
Cooking Class
Pisco Sour Class: In this class you will learn everything about pisco, its history and the varieties of this national drink. Afterwards, we will focus on the Pisco Sour, using fresh ingredients: lemon juice, gum syrup, egg white and pisco. Our expert mixologist will guide you so that you can prepare your own cocktail professionally and enjoy its delicious tasting.
Cooking Class: Depending on the option chosen, we will continue with the preparation of cold dishes. We will delve into the preparation of the Limeña Cause (combining mashed yellow potatoes with fresh ingredients) or Ceviche (knowing cutting techniques, marinating in lemon and traditional accompaniments such as sweet potato, corn and canchita). Once the preparation is finished, it will be time to enjoy your creations.
Miraflores and Huaca Pucllana
Love Park: We will visit the Parque del Amor located in the famous Miraflores neighborhood. Opened on Valentine's Day in 1993, it is the perfect place to walk, sit on its benches made of colorful mosaics, and read the different phrases of poets dedicated to love.
External View of Huaca Pucllana: Its panoramic view offers an impressive view of a pre-Inca pyramidal structure that stands out in the middle of the modern city. You will appreciate the unique fusion between pre-Columbian culture and contemporary life.
Historic Center of Lima
Plaza Mayor of Lima: Located in the heart of the historic center and in the same place where Francisco Pizarro founded the city in 1535. Surrounded by some of the most important buildings such as the Cathedral, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace and the Church of the Sagrario.
San Francisco Convent: Very famous for its catacombs and its incredible library. This monastery also has a basilica where the main altar, the sacristy and the cloister stand out. It is also known for its enormous catacombs where some 70,000 corpses rest.
We finish the tour with a demonstration and tasting of Peru's flagship drink, the “Pisco Sour.” Finally we will board our unit to return to the Hotel.
