Travel Itinerary

1

Meeting and Boarding Point

10:00 AM: Callao Naval Center / Dock Dock / Canotieri Restaurant / La Punta Regatas Club (be at least 15 minutes before the indicated time). The schedule, exact meeting point and guide information will be sent one day before by the operations area.

2

Beginning of the Maritime Route

10:30 AM: From the meeting point, we will go to the nearby Port of Callao, where we will embark on a comfortable sea crossing on an American yacht or catamaran to the Palomino Islands. From the boat we will observe LA PUNTA AND CHUCUITO.

3

El Camotal (The Peruvian Atlantis)

Urban legends indicate that, as a result of the earthquake in Lima in 1746, a part of Callao is submerged under the sea, which is a sand bank that can be seen on low tide days and more so during the summer.

4

San Lorenzo Island

San Lorenzo Island is the largest in the Peruvian sea. Archaeological remains have been found there that indicate that it was formerly used as a religious center. Furthermore, in ancient times, it was occupied by pirates, which gave rise to many fantastic stories and the nickname 'Mysterious Island'. Remains of Chilean soldiers who fought in the Pacific War were also found.

5

El Frontón Island (La Cárcel)

It is known for having served in colonial times and well into the 20th century as a political prison for figures such as Viceroy Blasco Núñez de Vela, among others. Currently, it is uninhabited.

6

Cavinzas Islands

Guano Island where we will have a great sighting of birds and rock formations.

7

Palomino Islands (Swim with Sea Lions)

We will arrive at the Palomino Islands, where you can swim with more than 5 thousand sea lions in their natural state (30 minute stay) where tourists will have 20 minutes to swim with the sea lions. They will be provided with a neoprene suit (Wetsuit) to protect themselves from the cold, life jackets and floating rings (for those who do not know how to swim), in addition to being accompanied by a swimming guide.
