Great Pacaya Samiria Expedition

Departure from the Lima Inca Trip office - (Lagunas at Av. Padre Lucero N° 1345, Jose Cardenas neighborhood, by motorcycle van and/or motorcycle taxi, to the PV8 - Tibilo Control post, main entrance to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve), where the visitor is registered by SERNA staff. Departure in well-conditioned canoes, from the PV8-Tibilo port, after three (3 hours) of navigation, we will arrive at the Tranca Flying Post, where we will prepare lunch. After a short rest, we continue navigating to the Poza Gloria Refuge, where we spend the first night. If you decide we can make a night tour, marveling at the first night.

7:00 AM Breakfast.

7:30 AM We depart from Posa Gloria by canoe on the Yanayacu River, where we can spot aquatic turtles, a variety of fish, insects, birds and other animals. During the journey to the Armanayacu stream, you will be able to witness the gigantic trees known as the boa tree, pink dolphins, and Paiches.

We will arrive at the Pantheon camp, where we will have lunch; After a stop of approximately 2 hours, we continue to the Camotal control post where we spend the night, after dinner we take a night tour through the Armanayacu stream, where we can see crocodile species.

7:00 AM Breakfast.

8:00 AM We start our canoe expedition to the point called Nuevo Iquitos.

We will take a 2-hour walk inside the jungle, we will be able to take a tour among medicinal plants, giant trees, and bird watching, then we continue sailing until we reach the Garrotillo camp where we will have lunch.

After making a stop we continue on our trip and arrive at the Tipishca Huama PV where we will spend the night in a camp made by our guides.

7:00 AM Breakfast.

8:00 AM We start the canoe tour excursion to the place called Sacarita Paña during our tour you will be able to spot dolphins, birds and enjoy the lush nature.

Following this we have lunch, then we continue sailing until we reach the Paña Flying Post, where we spend the night in a camp organized by our guides. After dinner we will do night tours.

7:00 AM Breakfast.

8:00 AM We continue with the canoe tour until we reach the point called Chiclayo, during the excursion you will be able to see exotic birds, fish for piranhas and enjoy the Amazon wildlife.

We will enjoy Amazonian legends, lunch, right away we leave until we reach the Tipishca Grande Post camp.

7:00 AM Breakfast.

8:00 AM We continue with our expedition when we arrive at the place called Tipishquillo, the macaws and other animals will accompany us during the tour until we reach the entry point to Cocha Pasto, where we spend the night. During the night we will do a night excursion to be surprised by the wildlife that the Amazon jungle possesses.

8:00 AM This will be a great day we will enjoy Cocha Pasto. We will take an excursion throughout its area leaving us amazed by the wildlife. We will be able to appreciate crocodiles, birds and other species, then we transfer to our camp in Cocha Pasto.

7:00 AM Breakfast.

8:00 AM This day we start our return trip to Villa Lagunas, spending a night at the Tipishca Grande Camp.

5:00 AM Breakfast.

6:00 AM We depart for Shanti Caño, where we will have lunch, to then continue with the tour to Alto Colinos where we will spend the night in a camp made by our guides.

6:00 AM Breakfast.

6:30 AM Departure to the place Rioja, where we will arrive right at noon, lunch, then we continue to Tipishca Huama where we spend the night.

7:00 AM We start our day navigating upstream with main destination to the point called Camotal, during our trip we will make a stop in Caimitillo for lunch, after we leave to Camotal, where we spend the night in a local cabin.

7:00 AM Departure to Poza Gloria, making a stop at the Pantheon Camp for lunch, then we continue with our trip to arrive in the afternoon at Poza Gloria, where we spend the night in a cabin.

7:00 AM Return to the Tibilo post, main place of entry to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, to then head to Villa Lagunas, by motorcycle van or motorcycle taxi, Arrival at lagoon 1 pm lunch and transfer to Yurimaguas.
